College Square Elementary PTO

College Square Valentine’s Party is Friday, Febuary 9th. The classroom parties begin At 2:30.  Each classroom will need snacks, drinks, paper products, games, and crafts.  The only volunteers present in the classroom are those supplying games and crafts.  Please plan to arrive by 2:00pm.  Volunteers must have all clearances and have paid the $6.00 PTA fee.  Remember the students need you to help make the parties a success.  Sign up here http://www.signupgenius.com/go/30e0949a8a82ca0fa7-valentines.  Note that the parties at Dutch Ridge and College Square are on the same day this year.

Our Schoolstore Fundraiser is doing great. The teachers have gotten lots of gift cards and funds have been raised for our school!!!

We are asking parents to help your kiddos to complete these envelope packs sent home today.  Please return them back to school by Feb 6th.

All kids will receive a light up suction ball for returning completed envelopes.

All kids who return these envelopes get entered to win a remote control minion. Drawing is on February 7th.

Come join  us for Family Game Night!  Castle Toys and Games will be bringing a large selection of STEM related games.  This is an opportunity to check out new games and give input about what games we should purchase for the students.  There will be pizza and snacks so don’t worry about dinner.  Sign-ups will be sent home this week with the students.  Please return the form along with payment of $2 per person by Tuesday January 30th.  Older and younger siblings are welcome.  There will be games for all age groups.  Also if you plan on coming and would like to volunteer to help we would appreciate it.

I can’t speak enough good things about the Harlem Wizards.  Their organization is amazing.  They came with smiles and were great with our kids.  The show they put on was more than we expected.  I believe the poles would show everyone enjoyed themselves.  What a great family fun evening!  We can’t wait to have the Harlem Wizards back again next year!

So the big game is less than a week away!  If you have not purchased your tickets they are still available at Witch Flavor until Wednesday at 8pm.  After that  tickets will be available at the door for $12.  The teachers are getting ready and would appreciate your support. So come cheer on our teachers as they go head to head with the Harlem Wizards!

At the game there will be concessions and raffles.  These will be cash only.  The 50/50 and Wizards merchandise package (worth over $200) will be $1 per ticket or 12 for $10.

Merchandise will be available for purchase (cash or credit) through the Harlem Wizards at the game.  Purchase a jersey before the game and become a Wiz Kid!  The Wiz kids will be announced and have the opportunity to warm up with the players before the game.   Warm ups start at 6pm.  You will be instructed to report to the MC to be announced.

If you purchased Courtside tickets your lanyard will be waiting for you at the game.  The meet and greet will begin promptly at 5:45pm.  You will be directed where to go once you arrive.  Also you will receive discounts at the merchandise stand. So don’t forget  to show them your lanyard.
